Painting London RED! Taylor Swift moves from geek glam to Miss Scarlet in cape dress on the UK leg of world tour Read

She is currently jet-setting around the world on her RED tour. And Taylor Swift looked every inch the lady in red as she arrived at the 02 in London in a scarlet cape dress on Saturday evening. The 24-year-old American singer/songwriter kicked off her European leg of her world tour with flying colours. As part of her show, Taylor was also joined by Ed Sheeran, who performed Lego House with her on stage. Speaking at the venue, she said: 'No matter how hard you try you can't make someone like you if they don't and that's okay. 'To get over it in my case it's going into my room, grabbing a banjo and writing about it.' Taylor teamed her satin red outfit with a pair of red sequin hotpants, revealing her infamous lengthy legs with sheer diamante tights, a pair of red leather boots and a pair of elbow-length red satin gloves. The I Knew You Were Trouble singer fixed her natural blonde locks into glam waves and wore a coat of red lipstick and black cat eyeliner to finish the look. She danced and sung around the stage with ease, and at one point a fan got almost too excited and jumped up onto the stage while she sung We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together, before getting bundled off stage by security. Later, she changed into another ensemble, a pair of black hotpants, a fitted white shirt, a black fedora hat and a pair of red brogues. The star kept on her diamante-encrusted tights, once again showing off her slender frame. Earlier in the day, an excited Taylor said: 'About to put on my hat and walk/frolick to the stage for our first of five shows at the O2 in London!! #REDTourLondon' She also told her Twitter followers about her surprise guest: 'First night in London and @edsheeran came out to surprise the crowd with 'Lego House'. Earth-shattering screams ensued. What a lad. #redtour' And she received glowing praise from her fans, with everyone appreciating the surprise performance from Ed Sheeran. In a recent interview with the Daily Mail Taylor said: 'God, so much has happened to me in the past few years,' she says. 'It’s true that years in the celebrity world are like dog years and in that sense I feel about 45. It has got crazy but I like to think I’m pretty much the same person I was back then.' Taylor Swift also told the Daily Mail, that she thinks Prince William could be the next singing sensation. She shared the karaoke mic with the Duke of Cambridge during a charity ball at Kensington Palace back in November. 'I could hear his voice and it is pretty good,' she said. '(He has) a nice tone. I’d definitely say he’s got star quality.' The pair sang Bon Jovi’s Livin’ on a Prayer for the crowd at the Palace’s Winter Whiets Gala charity ball.
